WATSONVILLE — Filogonio Ramirez Huerta died on Thursday, Aug. 17, 2017 peacefully at home surrounded by his family after a long illness. He was 57.

He was born in Oaxaca, Mexico on Dec. 20, 1959 to Guadalupe Ramirez and Carmen Aurora Huerta. He had been a resident of Watsonville for 36 years.

He is survived by his children, Cecilia (Jose) Ramirez, Juan (Melissa) Ramirez, Manuel (Wendy) Ramirez and Alan Ramirez, his father, Guadalupe Ramirez; eight grandchildren; siblings, Martin, Yolanda, Cristobalina, Otilia, Eloy, Salomon, Israel, Jorge, Olivia, Lupe, Luis, Alberto and Félix; nieces, nephews, in laws and his ex-wife (Isabel).  

A Memorial Service is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 21 at 7 p.m.
