WATSONVILLE — Marina Jauregui died at a local convalescent hospital on Sunday, June 11, 2017. She was 73.

Ms. Jauregui was a kind and charitable woman with an amazing sense of humor who was always happy. Family was important to her and she always made a point to stay in contact with everyone. Ms. Jauregui loved her animals who were like her children.

Ms. Jauregui is survived by her longtime partner and friend, Enrique Senon; brothers, Arturo Jauregui (Anaciel) of Watsonville, Albert Jauregui (Alicia) of Salinas, Hugo Jauregui (Silvia) of Sunnyvale, Heriberto Jauregui (Eva) of Royal Oaks and Nieves Jauregui (Jackie) of Watsonville; and sister, Yolanda Ocampo (Sonny) of Salinas. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Helen Maltos, Guadalupe Jauregui Jr. and Felix Jauregui.

Visitation will be held at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel on Saturday, June 17 from 3-9 p.m. with the Rosary recited at 7 p.m. A graveside service will be at Valley Public Cemetery on Tuesday, June 20 at 1 p.m.
