Pilar Torrecillas died peacefully on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018. He was 89.
Mr. Torrecillas was born on Oct. 12, 1929 and was a native of Watsonville. He loved to fish and he loved to work on cars or almost anything that needed some type of repair. He was a member of Union Iron Workers 377.
He is survived by his children, Kris Torrecillas, Peter Torrecillas, Michael Torrecillas, Yvonne Torrecillas and Able Torrecillas; 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
A gathering for family and friends will be held at the Freedom VFW on Sunday, Jan. 27 from 1-4 p.m.
