Andrew Seymour, St. Francis, Sr.: A star on the football team and a solid contributor to both the basketball and baseball squads as a junior, the 5-foot-8, 155-pound athlete will be forced into a bigger role for all three sports this incoming school year.

He was the lone player on the St. Francis football team to throw, catch and run for a touchdown last season. He also hauled in a team-high five interceptions for the Mission Trail Athletic League Coastal division co-champions.

On the basketball team, he was a reliable 3-point shooter who averaged 9.5 points per game, and he was also a serviceable pitcher in the spring, posting a 2.19 earned run average over nine appearances.

Editor’s Note: 20 athletes in 20 days is a daily series that will highlight one local high school athlete per day leading up to the start of 2018-19 school year.
