Jasmine Castillo, Pajaro Valley, (Jr.): A rising star on the Pajaro Valley soccer team is expected to return for another season in the winter.
Castillo was named the Pacific Coast Athletic League Cypress division’s Offensive Player of the Year after she scored 22 goals for the last-place Grizzlies (3-11-3, 0-9-3). In 2018, she was named Monterey Bay League Pacific division Newcomer of the Year.
There’s also the possibility of her joining the cross country team in the fall and the track and field team during the spring. Castillo plans to compete in the 4×100 relay race.
