Jeal Leal, Watsonville, (Jr.): One of the young stars of last year’s Watsonville High soccer team, Leal figures to be a cornerstone of the program for the next two seasons.
Leal last season finished with a team-high 13 goals and also dished six assists to help the Wildcatz win the brutal Pacific Coast Athletic League Gabilan division and advance to the NorCal Division II Regional Finals.
Watsonville is losing one of its top goal scorers from last year to graduation, but Leal and other promising young players should have another solid season for the Black and Gold
