Juliana Wilson, Watsonville, Sr.: The senior catcher has been a shining example of sustained excellence over the last three softball seasons, and will be one of Watsonville High’s talented leaders next spring.

Among players in the Central Coast Section last spring, Wilson finished second in RBIs (49) and slugging percentage (1.303), third in home runs (11), fourth in hits (51) and fifth in batting average (.646) and doubles (13). Behind her bat, the Wildcatz won a share of the Monterey Bay League Gabilan division title and advanced to the CCS Open Division semifinals.

The impressive 2018 season was nothing out of the ordinary for Wilson, who has batted above .600 since her freshman season and has struck out only three times in her high school career.
