Gisselle Vasquez had a hat trick for the Aptos Mariners in their 10-0 Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League rout of Harbor on Tuesday.
Olivia Meier scored two goals and made an assist, while Brynn Mitchell and Jazmin Castaneda both scored a goal and dished two assists.
Aubree Westjohn and Ava Hymes scored and recorded an assist for Aptos. Haley Veldhuis scored once and Bella McDaniel dished two assists.
In other girls’ soccer action from Jan. 10-16:
• St. Francis 3, at Monterey 1 – Ashley Raich scored two goals and Riley Croghan dished three assists in the Sharks’ PCAL-Cypress win on Tuesday.
• At Salinas 2, NMC 1 – The Condors suffered their first PCAL-Gabilan loss of the season on Tuesday.
• MVC 7, Pajaro Valley 1 – Shayna Lebovitz and Kailey Morrell scored two goals and dished two assists each to lead the Mustangs to another PCAL-Cypress win on Monday.
Caroline Sullivan scored two goals, and Amelia Camps-McCarffrey scored one, while Clarissa Alvarez and Jana Komposch both dished an assist.
Polina Oglesby made two saves.
M.V.C. (7-2-3, 5-0-1) plays at Seaside tonight at 5:45 p.m.
• Stevenson 6, Ceiba 2 – Alexia Carrisales and Andrea Gonzalez scored in Ceiba’s PCAL-Santa Lucia loss on Jan. 12.
• Watsonville 6, Greenfield 0 – Elyanna Magdaleno scored five goals to lead the Wildcatz to a PCAL-Mission win on Jan. 11.
Andrea Estanquero added the other score for Watsonville.
• Aptos 4, Scotts Valley 0 – Mitchell scored two goals and dished two assists for the Mariners in their SCCAL win on Jan. 10.
Meier scored the other two goals, and Caroline Miller made three saves.
• St. Francis 5, at Soledad 1 – McKenna Bedolla scored two goals in the Sharks’ PCAL-Cypress win on Jan. 10.
Vere Renteria and Croghan also scored for St. Francis.
• MVC 5, at Monterey 0 – Morrell scored two goals, Sullivan scored goal and dished an assist and M.V.C. cruised to a PCAL-Cypress win on Jan. 10.
Lebovitz scored and made an assist. Alvarez scored and Maddie Pullen made an assist.
POSTPONEMENTS
Watsonville picked up a PCAL-Mission win by after Notre Dame-Salinas forfeited Tuesday’s game.
Ceiba, too, had to reschedule a game because of inclement weather. The Spartans rescheduled their PCAL-Santa Lucia game against Marina to Jan. 26 at 11 a.m.
