Lawson Orradre, St. Francis, (Sr.): St. Francis’ three-sport athlete will compete in football, basketball and swimming this year.

Orradre will be the starting tight end and defensive lineman on a football team with low numbers on the roster. He will need to step up with linebacker Aaron Soto and defensive back Devin Mcleod gone due to graduation.

In the winter, he will be part of the basketball team that saw leading scorers Andrew Seymour and E.J. Kelly depart after graduating last year. Orradre should be a big presence on the inside and should rack up plenty of boards this season.

Orradre was part of the men’s varsity swimming team that placed fifth out of 10 teams in the Pacific Coast Athletic League Mission Division. He was part of the 4×100 free relay team alongside Jesse Robinette, Jake Taylor and Gio Garcia, which won a division race and helped lead the Sharks to their first ever division win in swimming.

Editor’s Note: 20 Athletes in 20 Days is a daily series that will highlight one local high school athlete per day leading up to the start of the 2019-20 school year.
