Nate Bagchee drove in Colin Hirahara for the game-winning run in the Cubs’ 11-10 win over the Giants in the Pajaro Valley Little League Majors playoffs on Monday.

Adam Martinez and Miguel Orozco each recorded a single and a double for the Cubs. Diego Mitchell scored three runs, including the game-tying score in the sixth inning.

Noah Moon singled and scored two runs for the Giants.

• Padres 15, Braves 5 – The Padres thumped the Braves 15-5 on Wednesday in Pajaro Valley Little League Majors playoffs action.

For the Pads, Isaac Garcia and Gio Aguirre both hit two singles and scored three runs. Edgar Ramirez doubled and drove in two runs. Aiden Bajan had two singles. Reece Hamalainen had two RBIs.

Nathaniel Arreola hit a home run and had two RBIs for the Braves. Nicolas Teixeira and Aidan Sabatino doubled.

AAA MINORS

• Mets 11, Cardinals 1 – Mason Borrego and Rudy Valdez doubled in the Mets’ 11-1 win over the Cardinals on Monday in Pajaro Valley Little League AAA Minors play.

Borrego and Valdez also teamed up to toss four innings of one-hit ball. The game was called early due to the 10-run rule.

Brandon Smith had the Cards lone hit and also scored their run.

• Red Sox 11, Orioles 1 – Marcus Gonzales allowed one hit, one run and struck out 12 batters over 4 2/3 innings on the mount to lead the Red Sox past the Orioles, 11-1, to the next round of the Pajaro Valley Little League AAA Minors playoffs on Tuesday.

Gonzales also drove in a pair of runs with the bat for the Sox. Brianna Leon and Austin Duque each had two singles, while the latter also had two RBIs. Thomas Westfall doubled and drove in two runs.

Samuel Garcia clubbed triple for the O’s.

• Mets 10, Pirates 0 – Brian Acosta tossed a four-inning, no-hitter to lead the Mets to a 10-0 win over the Pirates and into Saturday’s winner’s bracket final of the Pajaro Valley Little League AAA Minors playoffs.

Jacob Jimenez had three hits, including a double, and Rudy Valdez hit two singles.
