20 Athletes in 20 Days: Dre Gomez, Aptos High

Dre Gomez, Aptos, Sr.: The PCAL-Gabilan division First Team selection is one of Aptos’ top football talents.

The 5-foot, 11-inch, 213-pound linebacker finished last year with a team-high five sacks and also recorded an interception for the Mariners, according to MBayPreps.

Gomez is also expected to contribute a lot more on the offensive side and will step in as a fullback in a run-heavy offense.
