As a lifelong resident of Watsonville and current PVUSD Trustee for Area 4, I urge you to support Measure M in the upcoming election.

This measure is vital for our community’s future. As a proud Watsonville High School alumnus (Class of 2000) and parent of a soon-to-be graduate at Watsonville High School,  I understand the importance of our schools and facilities.

Most of our family’s roots run deep in our local PVUSD schools.

My brothers and I attended Mintie White Elementary, E.A. Hall Middle, and Watsonville High. My grandparents, Bill and Roberta, were Watsonville High sweethearts from the Class of 1948.

Measure M will upgrade our schools’ infrastructure, addressing pressing needs. By supporting Measure M, we’ll:

– Improve classroom safety and accessibility – Enhance technology and educational resources

– Increase energy efficiency and sustainability

– Provide better facilities for students, teachers, and staff

Additionally, Measure M includes funding for teacher housing, helping retain local teachers and providing opportunities for future educators.

As a trustee, I’ve prioritized campus safety and security. Measure M aligns with this commitment.

By supporting Measure M, we’ll create a brighter future for all PVUSD schools, not just  Mintie White Elementary, Radcliffe Elementary, E.A. Hall Middle, and Watsonville High (which I represent on the PVUSD Board of Trustees).

Every student, teacher, and staff member deserves modern, safe, and inspiring learning environments.

Drop off your ballot now or vote YES on M on Election Day!

I’m proud and honored to be your PVUSD School Representative.

I voted NO on M and am happy to say this. We just can’t afford another property tax hit. What Dodge fails to mention is the 20 Billion bond issue the state of California has on the ballot that will help all California school districts.
There are two bond issues on the ballot that will increase our property taxes, one from the county and one from PVUSD. How much more can seniors afford on a limited income?
