HIT & RUN Emergency workers deal with a three-vehicle crash early Monday on Riverside Drive in Watsonville. Initial reports revealed that a driver of a light-colored Toyota sedan barreled into the intersection of Riverside Drive at Marchant Street just before 5am. The Toyota slammed into a Subaru SUV (shown here) and shoved it into a parked GMC pickup. The impact flipped the Subaru onto its roof, trapping the female driver. Watsonville firefighters took about 25 minutes to extract the woman, who was taken to an out-of-county trauma center with moderate injuries, according to Watsonville Police. The driver of the Toyota reportedly sped off from the incident, which is still under investigation. (Tarmo Hannula/The Pajaronian)
