The annual Santa Cruz County Open Studios Art Tour, which showcases dozens of artists around the county in their studios, is set to welcome the public starting Oct. 4.

To prime the public with a wide range of what’s on deck, the Pajaro Valley Arts Gallery in Watsonville at 280 Main St. is offering a preview exhibit through Oct. 19.

The show allows people to explore artwork from artists from La Selva Beach, Watsonville, Davenport, Bonny Doon, San Lorenzo Valley and Scotts Valley.

“This special preview at the Porter Building offers a chance to see the diversity of work before the countywide tour begins,” organizers said.

Gallery hours are Friday from 11am-4pm, and Saturday–Sunday, from 11am-5pm.
