A map provided by the U.S. Geological Survey shows the extent of the Thursday morning earthquake.

A 4.6-magnitude earthquake centered in Boulder Creek rattled the Central Coast at 1:41am Thursday morning, with tremors felt as far north as Santa Rosa, northwest to Sacramento and Fresno and south to Salinas, according to the United States Geological Survey.

No damage or injuries were reported, and the risk of aftershocks was deemed low, the USGS said.

The temblor hit just two weeks before the 84th anniversary of the April 18, 1906 6.9 magnitude earthquake that destroyed much of San Francisco.

According to the USGS, it was the largest earthquake centered in Santa Cruz County since April 18, 1990, when two quakes of magnitude 5.1 and 5.4 struck the county’s southern area east of Watsonville.
