Hed: Free STEM camp offered for Watsonville youth
Children of the Fields, a local nonprofit focused on expanding educational opportunities for underserved youth, will host a free two-day STEM camp for children ages 6-12 on Aug. 3-4 at the Watsonville Community Center, 275 Main St.
The camp will run from 9:30am-12:30pm each day and will feature hands-on engineering challenges, science experiments and team projects led by high school volunteers.
Light breakfast and lunch will be provided. The program is free, but advance registration is required. Space is limited.

Behavioral Health Advisory Board
The Santa Cruz County Behavioral Health Advisory Board will meet Aug. 20 from 3–5pm, The board is a nonprofit advisory commission to the Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors. Meetings are open to the public. The meeting is at the Health Services Agency, 1400 Emeline, Conference Rooms 206-207 in Santa Cruz.
