The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office has opened an investigation after deputies found a body on Larkin Valley Road.

On Oct. 3 at approximately 6:59pm, deputies responded to reports of an unresponsive male on Larkin Valley Road near Windsong Way in the unincorporated area of Watsonville.

When first responders arrived they found the victim dead. 

The death is being investigated as a homicide, The Sheriff’s Office said.

The victim’s identity will be released once family members have been notified.

No arrests have been made.
