WATSONVILLE — The Regional Transportation Commission will consider approving an agreement Thursday with Lakeville, Minn.-based Progressive Rail to run the Santa Cruz Branch Rail Line.

The meeting will be held at 9 a.m. in the Watsonville City Council Chambers, 275 Main St., fourth floor.

According to the draft agreement, Progressive Rail would run the rail-freight operation centered in Watsonville.
