Jillian Rodriguez, Aptos, Sr.: An all-league first team selection for the Aptos High volleyball team last season, Rodriguez will be one of the Mariners’ leaders heading into her senior campaign.
Last season, she led Aptos in kills (245) and aces (41). She was also third on the team in digs (178), as the Mariners won a share of the Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League for the fifth straight season and advanced to the Central Coast Section Division III championship match.
With a trio of outside hitters from last year’s team gone to graduation, Rodriguez figures to have an even larger role this fall.
