WATSONVILLE — Nikitas Goumas died at Dominican Hospital on Tuesday, April 11, 2017. He was 76.
Mr. Goumas was born in Piraeus, Greece and lived in Watsonville for the past 15 years. He was a chef and worked at a number of restaurants in the area including the California Grill, Adolph’s and The Bold Knight. Mr. Goumas enjoyed traveling to Greece to visit friends and family and also enjoyed going shopping. He was devoted to his Greek Orthodox faith.
Mr. Goumas is survived by his longtime partner of 23 years, Rolande Pressnell of Watsonville; step-sons, Jeff Pressnell (LuAnne) of San Jose and James Pressnell of Idaho; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and three brothers living in Greece.
No funeral services will be held at this time. Mehl’s Colonial Chapel was entrusted with the arrangements.
