SANTA CRUZ COUNTY — The Santa Cruz County Elections Department has been updating the vote count from the November election over the past week.
In the latest results posted Thursday at 3:45 p.m., incumbent Greg Caput is pulling away from challenger Jimmy Dutra, leading by 775 votes.
For the Pajaro Valley Unified School District Trustee Area 4, Daniel Dodge Jr. gained some ground on incumbent Willie Yahiro. The two are separated by only 22 votes.
The updated vote count did not change the results of any local races.
The final vote count will be made by Dec. 6.
