Workers from Graniterock have closed all lanes of Airport Boulevard at Freedom Boulevard and extending northeast 1,300 feet flanking Freedom Centre. Some driveways and crosswalks will be impacted and foot and motor traffic has been detoured around the construction area. An official with Graniterock said the detour will be in place through Aug. 12. Traffic in the area was slowed on and off over the day Monday. New sidewalks, curbs and gutters and a new road surface on that section of Airport Boulevard are included on the job list.
