Arte del Corazón returns Friday


On Friday, as part of the monthly First Friday Art Tour around Santa Cruz County, Arte del Corazón will return as “Easter Mercado Artesanal” in Romo Park, across Main Street from the City Plaza.

Organizer Monica Galvan said the event, which coincides with the Certified Watsonville Farmers Market, will run from 2-7pm and include an Easter egg hunt and a bunny (costumed person) to greet kids.

There will also be tables showcasing paintings and drawings, jewelry, installations, photography, sculpture, knitting and more for sale.

Romo Park is at 335 Main St.

He also reports on a wide range of topics, including police, fire, environment, schools, the arts and events. A fifth generation Californian, Tarmo was born in the Mother Lode of the Sierra (Columbia) and has lived in Santa Cruz County since the late 1970s. He earned a BA from UC Santa Cruz and has traveled to 33 countries.
