Fresh off winning the Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League championship outright over Pacific Collegiate School on Friday, Aptos High was awarded the top seed in the upcoming Central Coast Section Division II playoffs on Saturday.
The Mariners (25-4) will host No. 8 Prospect High in the first round on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Mt. Madonna, the second-place finisher in the SCCAL regular season, received the No. 2 seed in the CCS D-III bracket. The Hawks (25-6) welcome in No. 7 Monterey High on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
The CCS championship matches for all three divisions are set for Saturday at St. Francis High in Mountain View.
