The nonprofit commission reports to the Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors.
Youth in Action Summit
Santa Cruz County Friday Night Live Partnership invites youth entering grades 7-12 to a free, one-day Youth in Action Summit on Friday, June 14th, from 9am–4pm at The Community Action Board Luna y Sol Familia Center, 15 Madison Street in Watsonville.

Japanese Cultural Fair
Celebrate 36 years of the Japanese Cultural Fair
This year the 36th-annual Japanese Cultural Fair will be happening Saturday, June 8 from 11am to 6pm at Mission Plaza Park in front of Holy Cross Church in Santa Cruz. The fair will feature multiple performers, food vendors and craft vendors highlighting traditional Japanese Culture. Free to the public.
Art on Wheels
The second annual Art on Wheels car show will unfold from 12–5pm June 8 in downtown Watsonville.
Put on by Arte Del Corazon, the free event will not only feature scads of early-day cars and trucks, but will also include live music, art and food vendors.
