The Watsonville Elks Car and Truck Show will take place Saturday from 10am to 3pm at 121 Martinelli St.
The show will feature music by DJ Marshall Jaurigi and tri-tip sandwiches.
Judging will take place at 2pm.
All money raised will go to the Elks Major fund and local projects.
Housing Element meeting coming to South County
Santa Cruz County officials will hold a community meeting on the 2023-2031 Housing Element on June 28 from 5:30-7pm at the Watsonville Civic Plaza Fourth Floor Community Room, 275 Main St.
The Housing Element identifies policies and programs to meet existing and projected housing needs for the urban unincorporated areas of the County. Every eight years, the state requires all counties and cities to update their Housing Element to ensure an adequate supply of housing units can be developed to meet the needs of community members at all income levels.
As required under State law, the Housing Element also includes a review of potential environmental impacts and a public participation process.
Food and Spanish translation will be available at the June 28 meeting.

Workshop covers Small Claims process
A Small Claims Workshop will be presented by Santa Cruz Superior Court’s Self Help Center and Small Claims Advisor Program on July 11 at 6pm.
The workshop, to be held via Zoom, will go over the basics of how the Small Claims process works.
