It is with much sadness that we report the passing of Charlotte K. Car on November 16, 2018 in Syracuse NY, where she lived with her daughter Annette since 2017. She was 90.

Charlotte was born April 11, 1928 and raised in Watsonville, California.

She graduated from Morland Notre Dame and worked as a bookkeeper at Marty Franich Lincoln Mercury for 35 years. She was baptized and married at St Patrick’s Catholic Church in Watsonville where she was a Eucharistic Minister and a member of Y.L.I. She was a life member and officer in C.F.U. Lodge #352 and a member of S.A.C.O.

Charlotte was predeceased by her husband, Anton Car and her siblings, Mary Ann Scurich and George Strazicich. She is survived by her brother Mirko Strazicich, and her two children; Annette Car Holm and Peter Car (Carolelyne). She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and many special nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral Mass and Rosary will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Watsonville in February.

The family requests donations to your favorite charity in lieu of flowers. Mehl’s Colonial Chapel was entrusted with the arrangements.
