Children’s book illustrator Elizabeth Gomez talks about her artwork Thursday during an exhibit reception for Amesti Elementary students as part of the El Pajaro Community Development Corporation and Plaza Vigil annual Art Show. Dozens of students took part in the show, said Amesti art instructor Lucia Herrera. “This show was largely inspired by the children’s book, ‘A Movie in My Pillow,’ a wonderful book that the kids really loved,” Herrera said.
