ArtSmart Mello Center Shows are designed for elementary students to experience world-class artists in a theater setting.

Tickets are $2 per seat.

Day of remembrance for road traffic victims

Community members are invited to join Santa Cruz County and the City of Watsonville in observing the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims at Chanticleer County Park, 1975 Chanticleer Ave. in Santa Cruz on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025, from noon–1pm.

Focus Agriculture applications available

The Focus Agriculture program, designed for selected community leaders to learn about local agriculture, consists of once-a-month, daylong seminars, held over a period of eight months.  

Twenty people will be selected.

Sessions will be held one full day per month commencing March 13, 2026 and ending Oct. 23.

 Applications are available online at agri-culture.us (under “Programs” Tab), at the Agri-Culture office at 141 Monte Vista Avenue in Watsonville, by calling 722.6622 or emailing at ag**********@*******al.net.

Applications are due Jan. 9. Those received before Dec. 12 will be considered for early admission.

Pearl Harbor Survivors meeting

The annual Pearl Harbor survivors meeting is scheduled for Dec.6 at 9am at the Watsonville American Legion Hall at 214 Center St.

There will be a no-host breakfast. Space is limited. All are welcome to attend.
