Corpus Christi celebrated in Watsonville

Volunteer workers place colored sawdust to create a path in the parking lot of St. Patrick’s Church on Thursday. The church’s priest walked on the path carrying the Blessed Sacrament, concluding the Corpus Christi celebration. Creating the processional has become a worldwide tradition, but it was the first time it has been done in Watsonville.
