contributed FEAST A huge crowd enjoys the the annual Fairgrounds Foundation Crab Feed last year.

Tickets sales for the 21st annual Fairgrounds Foundation Crab Feed are swiftly selling for the festive evening at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds. 

Set for March 2, the all-you-can-eat crab, chicken, clam chowder, salad and dessert meal—which usually draws 500 people—will also include a silent and live auction.

Money raised goes to the Fairgrounds Foundation, which then invests in the Santa County Cruz Fairgrounds to maintain and upgrade the grounds and facilities. 

Ron Haedicke, Marketing Director for the Fairgrounds Foundation, said tickets will be sold up until Monday at noon and no tickets will be sold at the door. 

The evening includes live and silent auctions which will start off with the popular Desert Auction.For information, and tickets, visit fairgrounds-foundation.org.
