Donald W. Chisholm, 71, known to most as Wally, died Dec. 21, 2017 of pancreatic cancer. He died at home with his wife Beth, nephew Dennis, family, close friends, and beloved dog Wendy.

He was born Dec. 18, 1946 to Fred (Poppy) Chisholm and Dorothy (Annie) (Smith) Chisholm. He was born and raised in Freedom, CA. As a kid, he enjoyed baseball and go-kart racing. As a young man he was the number 2 amature/expert enduro and TT motorcycle racer in the nation. As an adult he drove his #81 “World Famous Flying W” transfer truck and trailer. He loved riding his collection of Harley-Davidson motorcycles with a large group of friends.

He is survived by his wife Beth and his sons Tom and Tim. He also leaves five grandkids, Calvin, Luke, Brendan, Kay, Gracey; great-granddaughter Evelyn; his “Big sister” Diane Cole; nephews Duane, Dennis, and Josh; and his nieces Dannette and Bernadette.

Per his request there will be no services held. The first weekend of March there will be a Celebration of Life BBQ so that family, friends and all who knew him may attend and share all the memories he gave us.
