WATSONVILLE — Estela P. Sanchez died at her home in Watsonville on Friday, May 5, 2017. She was 80.

Mrs. Sanchez was born to Luis Pulido and Josefina Quintero in Michoacan, Mexico and moved to Watsonville over 50 years ago. She enjoyed visiting the flea market and going to the casinos. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Sanchez will be remembered for her unconditional love and support she gave her family.

Mrs. Sanchez is survived by her sons, Antonio Sanchez, Gonzalo Sanchez, Jorge Sanchez, Jesus Sanchez, Luis Sanchez, Ramon Sanchez, Carlos Sanchez and Luis Antonio Orozco; daughters, Luz Maria Quintero, Herminia, Plasencia and Josefina Magana; 25 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will take place at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel on Thursday, May 11 from 3-9 p.m. with the rosary recited at 7 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Valley Catholic Church on Friday, May 12 at 1 p.m. with burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers Mrs. Sanchez’s family asks donations to show their gratitude to the support of Hospice of Santa Cruz County, 940 Disc Drive, Scotts Valley, CA 95066.
