WATSONVILLE — A man was taken to the hospital late Tuesday morning after a fight with two suspects.
The fight occurred at about 11 a.m. in the parking lot of Motel 6 on the 100 block of Silver Leaf Drive.
A witness said that two men approached the victim and challenged him to a fight. A bystander told the men not to attack him at the same time, but to make it fair by fighting one at a time, the witness said.
At some point, the victim was knocked unconscious.
The suspects then fled in a yellow, green or blue Jeep, and were last seen in the area of Pennsylvania Drive and Main Street, emergency dispatchers said.
