LA SELVA BEACH — La Selva Beach will be the location for the Central Coast’s first International Women’s Festival on March 30.
The daylong event will feature speakers who will touch on topics such as finding work you love, and how to be the number-one influencer in your industry.
“The International Women’s Festival — Central Coast will honor and celebrate women’s accomplishments, while inspiring the vision and dreams of women in all walks of life,” said event publicist Karen Kefauver.
The event will feature speakers such as Jill Lublin, Janice Niederhofer and Tama Kieves.
Brecia Kralovic-Logan, who has organized similar events in other regions, will honor local women who have made a difference in the local community.
Pajaro Valley Shelter Services Executive Director Kimberly Ferm will talk about her organization.
Launched in 2007, Women’s Festivals are nonprofit events held around the world produced by DeDominic and Associates, in collaboration with the National Association of Women Business Owners and Femmes Chefs D’Enterprises Mondiales, a France-based international organization of female entrepreneurs.
“I really believe that female appetites and ambitions are not dirty words, but rather gifts that need to be shared and developed,” festival organizer Susan Moranda said.
March 30, she said, will do just that.
“As women, we can work together to phase out rules that don’t work for us anymore, and also, to rewrite and create some new chapters in our book that will enhance our lives professionally, emotionally and spiritually,” she said.
