Floreso “Flor” M. Victory died peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Friday, June 22, 2018 in Watsonville. He was 93.
Mr. Victory was born on Jan. 7, 1925 in Pu’unene, Hawaii to Leon Victory and Belnarda Meriales. At age 13 he moved to the Philippines and in April 1946 married his wife, Emeliana. In 1979, Mr. Victory returned to the United States, settling in Watsonville.
Mr. Victory is survived by his wife, Emeliana; five sons, Albert, Glorito, Rolando, Wilson, Dante; two daughters, Marilou and Percalita; 26 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel from 5-9 p.m. on Sunday, July 1 with the rosary recited at 7 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 2 at 10 a.m. at Saint Patrick’s Church with burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery.
