Watsonville Police take one of four people into custody Monday following a high-risk car stop on Highway 1 at South Green Valley Road. Sgt. Mish Radich said the quartet appeared to have set up a fake prostitution meeting with a man around 1 p.m. at the Motel 6 at Green Meadow Drive at South Green Valley Road. At one point the group threatened the victim with a weapon that they claimed to have. Watsonville Police managed to get behind the fleeing suspect vehicle, a silver 2002 Mercedes Benz, within seconds. Two men and two women of Sacramento were ordered from the car at gunpoint and detained for questioning. No injuries were reported.
