Marcos Reyes, Aptos High
Mariners’ senior rushed for 173 yards and two touchdowns on offense, and also returned a fumble 50 yards for a score on defense in Aptos’ 62-37 CCS playoff win over Terra Nova on Nov. 17.
Layla Ruiz, Watsonville High
Wildcatz’s sophomore took second in the Division I race of Sunday’s CCS Cross Country Championships at Toro Park in Salinas to advance to Saturday’s CIF state meet.
