Around 200 people gathered at Watsonville Plaza Thursday as part of a nationwide movement to protest the Trump administration’s attack on civil and human rights. Organized by Indivisible Santa Cruz County, local union groups, Black Voters Matter, and others, the “Good Trouble Lives On” event brought a wide flurry of homemade signs, chants, and speeches on the anniversary of Congressman John Lewis’s passing “to defend our democracy and carry forward his legacy of Good Trouble,” organizers said. Scores of such demonstrations took place around the county, including Santa Cruz, Soquel, and Aptos. (Tarmo Hannula/The Pajaronian)

Turmo!
Better you should tell these undocumentos and their XD running dogs to get their affairs in order, the Trumpster is on the way.
Hi yo Silver and get ’em up Scout
Ask yourselves why 99% of these people are old and white.
Maybe because people of color are afraid they would be picked up by ICE if showed up at a protest and maybe because the protest was held when a lot of people were at work but retired people were free to participate. Also, if UCSC wasn’t on summer break, maybe there would have been more young people there. Why, what do you think?
As an old white guy, I’m afraid that many of my peers are just brain muddled….
Sandra, I think you arw racist ASF… saying all brown people are illegal. Shame on you.
