Large crowds took to the streets of Aptos on Saturday morning to protest gun violence. The droves of marchers took off from Aptos Village Park, making their way north on Soquel Drive before turning onto State Park Drive and chanting from the freeway overpass. March For Our Lives is a worldwide organization which aims to raise awareness of and prevent gun violence, particularly in schools. More than 800 such marches took place around the U.S. and scores of countries around the globe also took part.
