August 1958-November 2018

God saw you getting tired,

and a cure was not to be.

So He put His arms around you

and whispered, “Come with Me,”

With tearful eyes we

watched you slowly fade away.

Although we loved you dearly,

we would not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,

your hard-working hands put to rest,

God broke our hearts to prove to us

He only takes the best.

Our dearest, sweet, beautiful, indefatigable, full of love and encouragement, Irma was pulled from our arms early afternoon of November 6, 2018 at the young age of 60.

She fought lung cancer for two years. Although, the battle was long and hard Irma always had her spirit, hopes, and never failed to make us laugh! The amount of joy and happiness Irma brought us is a list that could go on forever. She touched each and every one of our hearts. She will be missed dearly but will be with us in our hearts.

In the days before passing, Irma was surrounded by all six of her children and many friends.

Irma is survived by her 6 children: Ruby (Jesse) Lopez, Pearl Martinez, Mario Sanchez, Kassandra, Manny, and Princess Galvan; three grandchildren: Jessyka, Noah, and Ayden; and four brothers: Hector Meza, Marco, Juan, and Jose Martinez.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister Martha Martinez Rodriguez.

Mass will be held at Green Valley Church on Monday November 26, 2018 at 11:00am. Following services, burial will take place at Watsonville Catholic Cemetery.
