Japanese culture highlighted at Hanamatsuri

Members of the Salinas Judo Club put on a demonstration of their skills in Watsonville Sunday at the annual Hanamatsuri at the Watsonville Buddhist Temple. The event included a raffle, food sales, vendors of various goods, a bonsai tree display, live music and other events in hopes of bringing the community up to speed with Japanese culture.
