Jennifer Holm, who has served for six years on the Trustee Area VII seat on the Pajaro Valley Unified School District Board of Trustees—two terms as board president and one as vice president—will resign from the position effective Oct. 10.

Holm says her decision stemmed from the demands of her role as director of Cabrillo College’s nursing program.

“It has been my honor to serve as the Trustee for Area VII for nearly six years,” she stated in a press release. “However, over the last year I have observed my work demands coming into increasing conflict with my board responsibilities.”

According to PVUSD spokeswoman Alicia Jimenez, the board will begin the process of appointing a new trustee within the next 60 days.
