Jewell Funk died peacefully surrounded by her family in Watsonville on Friday, Feb. 23, 2018. She was 95.
She was born on Nov. 12, 1922 in Oklahoma and came to California during her high school years.
She was a woman of many wonderful traits. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church in Watsonville and was very devoted to her family. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter and grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Funk. She is survived by her daughter, Margaret (David) Traulsen; her sister, Bobbie (Ray) Engel of Reno, Nev.; one grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
Burial services were held on Tuesday, March 6 at Pioneer Cemetery.
