WATSONVILLE — Juan Balderas Ruano died peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017. He was 60.

Mr. Balderas was born on April 9, 1957 in Mexico to Juan and Elisa Balderas Ruano.

He enjoyed many aspects of life. Most importantly he appreciated and cherished the time spent with his family who meant the absolute world to him.

He is survived by his wife, Carmen Balandran; children, Luis, Cristina and Fernando; numerous brothers and sisters.

Visitation services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 2 from 5-9 p.m. with a recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, Jan. 3 at 10 a.m. at Valley Catholic Church with a burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery.
