Juan Ornelas died peacefully on Sunday, July 15, 2018. He was 87.
Mr. Ornelas was a native of Texas. He was a long time resident of Watsonville. Mr. Ornelas enjoyed gardening and spending time at the beach.
He is survived by his partner of many years, Maria Jesus Hernandez Estrada; daughter, Alma Estrada; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maria Candelaria and Jose Isabel Ornelas.
A viewing was held on July 26 at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. A funeral Mass was celebrated on July 27 at St. Patrick’s Church followed by a burial at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park.
