letter to the editor pajaronian

I am at a loss as to why the PVCHD Board of Directors have not responded to my emails to their website. I have sent emails to their contact listing since as far back as April 2022, yet with no response, other than to reply that someone would respond.

As of this date, I have not received any response, even though I have attended several of the Board meetings and voiced this issue to them each time.

April 2022 to June 2023 seems to me long enough to be patient and understanding, would it not? Why would someone on the Board, or the Board itself, at least acknowledge they are aware?

This issue is the basis for my contention from the very beginning that the Board must be “open and transparent” and not administer from “a bubble,” away from the employees and the public. Obviously, the Board prefers to not be questioned on decisions that they would have to explain to the general public.

I am qualified enough, more than most, to question actions that have been taken and as a result I am concerned that the Hospital has developed an “us against them” culture with the employees, plus ignoring the public.

The current Board gave me no choice other than to bring my concerns to the public. I tried to be accommodating, but to no avail.
