The Cabrillo College Seahawks went 2-1 at the Shasta College Tournament over the weekend in Redding.
Cabrillo (4-2) beat College of the Siskiyous, 69-59, on Friday night and Foothill College, 75-62, on Saturday but lost to host Shasta, 77-41, on Sunday.
Forward Linton Acliese recorded a double-double in both of the Seahawks’ wins. Against C.O.S., he had 26 points and 16 rebounds and finished with 17 points and 10 boards against Foothill.
Guard Tynan Velasquez scored 19 points in both wins. He had nine assists against Foothill and dished seven assists in the win over C.O.S.
Guard Kobe Ordonio also scored in double figures for the Hawks in their two wins.
Cabrillo plays at Ohlone College on Saturday.

G LEAGUE BASKETBALL
• Wolves 105, Warriors 97 – The Santa Cruz Warriors failed to score more than 100 points for the first time this season in a road loss to the Iowa Wolves on Sunday night.
Santa Cruz (5-3) led early but found itself in a 20-point hole midway through the fourth quarter in the loss, which snapped a four-game winning streak.
The Wolves shot 50 percent from the field and also made 45 percent (11-24) of their shots from beyond the arc.
Damian Jones, currently on assignment from Golden State, scored a career-best 29 points and made eight rebounds, while Georges Niang added 19 points but it wasn’t enough for the Warriors to make it five straight victories.
Quinn Cook, Michael Gbinije and Alex Hamilton did not suit up for the Warriors. Damion Lee scored 18 points and James Southerland chipped in with 16.
Santa Cruz plays the Texas Legends tonight at 5 p.m. in Frisco, Texas.

• Hoops shoot return – The annual Watsonville Elks Hoop Shoot is set for Dec. 9 at Lakeview Middle School.
The free throw competition for kids ages 8-13 will begin at 11 a.m.

• PV United wins state cup – The Pajaro Valley United U10 boy’s soccer team won the NorCal silver division state cup over the weekend.
P.V. United beat the Force North, 8-1, in the quarterfinals, edged Union Sacramento FC, 4-1, in the semifinals and then blanked Pac San Jose Academy, 1-0, in the final to win the championship.
