Pajaro Valley lost their Monterey Bay League Gabilan division game against Christopher in a 25-15, 25-14, 27-25 sweep on Tuesday night in Gilroy.
Geovanny Barajas had 11 kills, four aces and a pair of digs. Dennar Ocampo had 14 assists and two digs. Esteban Fernandez finished with six kills.
Pajaro Valley (7-6, 0-3) hosts Alisal tonight at 6:30 p.m.
• San Benito 3, Watsonville 2 – Watsonville lost a 23-25, 25-22, 25-19, 20-25, 16-14 heartbreaker on Tuesday night against San Benito in MBL-Pacific division action.
Watsonville travels to Soledad tonight at 6:30 p.m.
• Seaside 3, MVC 0 – Riland Wagner had 11 kills, three assists, a block and an ace for Monte Vista Christian in a 25-13, 25-18, 29-27 on Tuesday night.
J.P. Thrasher added 11 assists, four kills and three aces. Tanner Batt chipped in three kills and a blocks.
M.V.C. (5-5, 1-2) welcomes in Alvarez tonight at 6:30 p.m.

• MVC 13, Salinas 9 – Garret Laine hit his second home run of the season in Monte Vista Christian’s MBL-Gabilan division win over Salinas on Monday.
Laine also scored three runs and drove in a pair. Marshall Silva had three RBIs, and Jacob Beardsley was 2-for-3 with a walk, three scored runs and an RBI.
• NMC 6, Alvarez 5 – George Madrigal drove in the game-winning run with a two-run single for North Monterey County in its MBL-Pacific division win on Monday night.
Madrigal was 2-for-4, and Gabe Miranda was also 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Shane Cortez was 2-for-3 with an RBI.

• St. Francis 22, Pajaro Valley 2 – Anna Noto was 2-for-4 with five RBIs and two scored runs in St. Francis’ preseason win over Pajaro Valley on Monday.
Audrey Hernandez had 2-for-2 with four scored runs and two RBIs. Lena Ciandro scored three runs and had two RBIs and Ariana Azevedo scored four runs and an RBI.
Claire Cagnacci had two RBIs.
