• Parker notches 2 wins – St. Francis junior Justin Parker won the 100- and 200-meter double in the Sharks’ first Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League dual meet in San Lorenzo Valley on Tuesday.
He notched winning times of 11.89 seconds and 24.09, respectively.

• Warriors complete season – St. Francis senior Samantha Bellucci won the triple jump and long jump and finished second in the high jump at Tuesday’s SCCAL dual meet in San Lorenzo Valley.
Bellucci recorded winning jumps of 31 feet, 5 1/2 inches and 16-0 in the triple and long jump, respectively, while clearing 4-8 in the high jump.

• Gilroy 8, NMC 4 – Jesse Barajas was 2-for-4 with two scored runs in North Monterey County’s non-league lost on Tuesday night.
Jorge Madrigal went 2-for-3 with a double for N.M.C. (4-2, 4-1), which thumped Pajaro Valley 14-2 on Monday in MBL-Pacific division action. Barajas had two doubles, two scored runs and an RBI in the win, while Shane Cortez went 3-for-3 with two RBIs.
The Condors host Soledad on Friday at 4 p.m.
• Aptos 6, Scotts Valley 5 (9 innings) – Aptos went extra innings to notch an SCCAL win over Scotts Valley on Tuesday.
Jacob Mendoza went 2-for-5 with two RBIs and David Reckers was 3-for-5 with a double.
Aptos (5-3, 2-1) hosts Woodside on April 7.
• MVC 12, Lynbrook 5 – Garret Laine hit his third home run of the season in Monte Vista Christian’s non-league win on Monday.
Tyler Keenan had two RBIs and Jacob Beardsley notched the win after 5 2/3 innings of work in which he allowed four hits, three walks and four runs.

• Aptos 9, Santa Cruz 7 (8 innings) – Sunshine Brechler was 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI and two scored runs in Aptos’ extra-innings SCCAL win on Tuesday.
Shea Garcia doubled, walked twice, drove in three runs and scored two times for Aptos (3-4, 1-0).
The Mariners hosts Notre Dame-Salinas today at 4 p.m.
• Watsonville 7, Gilroy 0 – Zaira Pena went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and two scored runs in Watsonville’s MBL-Gabilan division opener against Gilroy on Tuesday.
Jessica Rodriguez tossed a three-hit shutout and Anastacia Alba was 3-for-3 with a run and an RBI.
Watsonville (5-0, 1-0) plays at Monterey today at 4:30 p.m.
• Scotts Valley 5, St. Francis 3 – Shelby Velasco scored twice and hit a triple in St. Francis’ heartbreaking SCCAL loss on Tuesday.
Velasco also struck out eight batters in the circle for St. Francis (1-3, 0-1), which hosts San Lorenzo Valley today at 4 p.m.

• Cabrillo 17, West Valley 2 – Cabrillo College racked up 19 hits in its Coast Conference Pacific division win on Tuesday afternoon.
Joey Ongais tripled, knocked in three runs and scored twice. Jonah Shabry was 3-for-4 with a double, three RBIs and two scored runs.
James Schwenger picked up the win after five innings of work for Cabrillo (9-16, 4-3), which hosts City College of San Francisco today at 2:30 p.m.
